Blancco - Data Cleaner+ - Blancco – Data Cleaner+ is the versatile solution for any data erasure need: Blancco – Data Cleaner+ along with its added benefits guarantees cost savings and efficiency.
Deleting and formatting do not erase data from your hard drive. Data which has been erased by Blancco - Data Cleaner+ cannot be recovered with any existing technology, thus protecting you against identity theft. BDC+ erases all existing data including Confidential, Secret and Top Secret security level data and covers all recognized international standards and more. It meets and exceeds data security standards of the US DoD 5220.22-M.
BDC+ is compatible with any up-to-date working hard disk and thanks to its own operating system, it can be operated personally whenever, wherever needed. The user-friendly BDC+ is stand-alone software that provides unlimited erasure for one PC/server, which can have up to 4 ATA/IDE/SCSI/USB/serial–ATA hard disks drives of any size. The software provides also the erasure of locked and hidden sectors on a hard disk such as DCO, HPA and remapped sectors.
Once the hard disks have been cleaned, the software automatically generates a detailed erasure report with hardware asset management information (i.e. computer name, serial number, details of processor, memory, hard drive etc.). Hardware functionality test as an add-on provides information about the main memory, processor, motherboard and hard drive SMART test. BDC+ ensures compliance with HIPAA, SOX, FACT ACT, GLBA, etc. The software is available as a media package, Preinstall service, network solution (LAN), and ASP.
